The network of 12 CICs has worked on almost 2,000 projects with UK and international companies to successfully increase their competitiveness. Bridging the gap between industry and university expertise, the CICs are commercially-managed, collaborative R&D centres. They
cover design, digital printing, environmental technologies, food, materials, precision technologies, particle technology, polymer, pharmaceutical and wireless technologies.
